Preliminary information on the Crossout update 0.9.110

Greetings to all survivors! We continue with a series of early peeks at updates planned for the near future. Today we are going to talk about the update 0.9.110, which contains a lot of interesting changes. We remind you that some of them were announced earlier as part of our developer blogs. Remember to follow the updates of this section, as well as the news section, to always be aware of the planned changes and the latest news!

To begin with, we are still planning to rework the seasons system, daily challenges and rewards for daily entry into the game. Weekly resource limits (scrap metal, wires, batteries) will be replaced by daily limits. As a result, being active in the game daily will be encouraged accordingly, and active players will be able to receive more resources during a week. Here you can find all the latest information and the currently available specifics on the future rework.

Wheel grip with different surfaces will also be reworked in the upcoming update. Detailed information about this change was published in our special developer blog. The plans have not changed, and you'll be able to try out the updated wheels in battles next week. We also plan to add information on how this or that part affects the power of the armored car to descriptions of all movement parts (except hovers).

We'd also like to remind you that the starter pack ‘Snake Bite’ will be withdrawn from sale on August 21. After that, it will be unavailable to purchase and will be replaced by a new starter pack ‘Insomnia’.

In the update 0.9.110 we plan to release a new ‘spiky’ structural part, which will be added to the equipment of the ‘Firestarters’ faction. Of course, this is not the only part we're working on. We also plan to gradually increase the number of structural parts in the game.

New content is expected in the game's music department. With the release of this update, 2 new tracks will be added to the ‘Race’ mode. And who knows, maybe in the future survivors will be able not only to show wonders of speed, but also destroy raiders with this soundtrack?

The update will also include a number of changes and new features in the game interface and fixes for many known errors.

Let's move on to balance changes. In the update 0.9.110 we expect to:

  • Fix a bug with the ‘Fortune’ minelayer, which allowed projectiles to pass through movement parts. Projectiles will no longer detonate upon contact with allied vehicles;
  • Rework the ‘Reaper’ minigun
    • Replace the weapon's perk. It will no longer overheat while shooting.
    • Slightly increase damage to compensate for the lack of the former unique feature.
    • Slightly increase spooling time and reduce barrel stop time.

Developer comment: ‘We decided to remove the old perk, because it did not add unique situations and gameplay moments’. Due to the ability's randomness, the player, as a rule, could not use it effectively. The new perk will allow the minigun to deal constant damage and effectively control the terrain.’

  • Rework the weapon booster ‘Tormentor’. It will no longer heat up your melee weapon and increase its damage received.

Developer comment: ‘Since the module was activated during contact with the enemy, the only damage that was done to the weapon was the explosion of enemy modules. We are sure that dealing such damage significantly limited the use of melee crafts and conflicted with the aim of the module’.

  • Change the perk of the spear ‘Lancelot’, slightly reducing bonus damage for every 300 meters passed.

Developer comment: ‘Lancelot's perk gave excessive bonuses, which made one-time damage in a collision unjustifiably high.’

  • Slightly increase durability of the flamethrower ‘Draco’.

Developer comment: ‘Draco is a quite effective weapon, but it still slightly loses when compared with other legendary guns.’

  • Add the possibility of breaking through parts and fixing the rope to the internal parts of a craft for the ‘Skinner’ harpoon.

Developer comment: ‘The harpoon used to stick to the part the player aimed at. Usually, this part was quickly destroyed by the Skinner's owner and the cable was torn. Now the probability of breaking the cable is significantly reduced, which reduces the possibility of self-harm.’

In addition, in one of the upcoming updates we plan to revise some parameters of the ‘Icarus IV’ and ‘Icarus VII’ hovers. As official information on the changes appears, we may update this news item or release an additional one.

Please note that the plans described in this article are preliminary and may change in the development process or never make it into the game.
