Centenarian
We would like to introduce survivors to the heroes of the Wasteland. Let's start with Centenarian's story.
Ask anyone in the Valley — everyone has heard of the Centenarian. Yet, no one can tell you his real name or date of birth.
The unsinkable old man has been the subject of gossip for a long time and everyone is surprised that he's still kicking. So the people grew curious about this idea and started guessing and making up reasons, you've got to have fun somehow, especially after dark.
Nobody could quite believe that someone can survive for so long. And who could blame them? Old people are as rare in the Wasteland as pure water. One of the local lunatics tried to convince the folk that Centenarian was infected with the crossout virus back at the time of the disaster and literally stopped aging. Besides, he still does not wear face masks or gas masks. That would hurt anyone, so the locals avoid Centenarian. Just in case. And it would not be so terrifying if it weren't for the rumours that Centenarian was a living corpse! He can be hit by anything and won't even blink. But, his body can't heal even the smallest wounds. So he used to join raids a lot, but now he avoids direct combat and prefers to command. And recently the guys from his group remembered that nobody had ever seen him asleep.
Something's wrong with Centenarian, that's for sure! The locals are afraid of whatever's going to happen to the old man next. They are afraid that over the centuries of his life, suddenly, evil thoughts may come to him...
