New resources in Crossout

Survivors!

The update is getting closer, and we continue to tell you about the upcoming new features. Today we will tell you about new resources, as well as ways to obtain and use them for parts production.

In the next update, we plan to expand the number of resources available in Crossout. Let us immediately answer the question ‘What for?’. The new features are aimed at making parts production more diverse, the market aspect of the game more multifaceted, and they make sure players have even more ways to earn in-game currency on the market. You're probably eager to find out what will be added and will change, so without further ado, we will start reviewing the future changes.

In update 0.9.70 we plan to add two new types of resources: ‘Batteries’ and ‘Plastic’. These resources will be used to build parts of the epic and legendary rarity, while the recipes for the production of parts will change accordingly.

Where can you get the new resources and where can you use them?

Batteries

  • The resource will be earned as part of a separate mission.
  • To participate in the mission, an armored car of 5000 PS will be needed.
  • The resource will be used in production of parts of legendary rarity. The ‘Wire’ resource will no longer be used to build parts of legendary rarity.

Plastic

  • The resource will be earned in a separate raid of medium difficulty.
  • The resource will be used in production of parts of epic rarity. At the same time, the number of required ‘Wires’ is reduced.

In order to more smoothly and comfortably add new resources to the game, we plan to launch a special in-game event during which every Survivor will be able to exchange the accumulated wires for new resources. It is expected that the traders will be in the wasteland for about 2 weeks, so everyone will have time to exchange resources, if they need to.

We remind you that in this news item we are sharing our plans for the future. In the future, some of the described innovations may be changed or not make it to the final release at all. Information on the exchange rate of wires for new resources and updated recipes will appear in the description of the update.
