Changes in common parts and copper acquisition

Greetings, Survivors! It's no secret for experienced players that surviving in the Wasteland is not a simple task. A beginner who first gets into this world, is faced with the need to build his own armored vehicle, which would allow him to evolve and gradually build up strength. Where does an inexperienced Survivor begin his journey? Of course, with simple but reliable parts that should be accessible and convenient. Well, good-natured Engineers and Ivy XO are happy to meet all recruits and are ready to help them in this difficult but fascinating journey through the Wasteland.

In the nearest release we plan to make manufacturing common rarity parts more accessible to all beginners who want to independently build their first parts. Their production will cost 50 units of scrap metal. This applies to such parts as:

  • Cabin ‘WWT1’
  • Cannon ‘Avenger’
  • Machine gun ‘Chord’
  • Shotgun ‘Lupara’

Thus, the amount of scrap metal awarded at the beginning for production of the ‘Chord’ machine gun will also be changed to 50 units.

In addition, we plan to increase the efficiency of such cabins of common rarity, as ‘Docker’ and ‘WWT1’, by increasing their durability and maximum speed. Welding points on these cabins have not been forgotten either. We plan to increase their number as well.

We will continue to work on various aspects of the game so that all survivors, who only recently found themselves in the Wasteland, could feel comfortable and can move forward to new challenges.

‘And what about copper?’ — you ask. In the nearest update we plan to proportionally increase the amount of copper that players earn in raids, and the amount of copper required to build parts. Why are we doing this?

At the moment, the ratio of scrap and copper on the in-game market is far from being in favour of the latter. We believe that the quantity of copper offered on the market should correspond more or less to the amount of scrap offered. This change will allow us to correct the situation and will not affect the earnings of players.

Separately, it should be noted that with the update, we plan to cancel all sale and purchase orders for copper and return it to the players. After that, the amount of copper in the storage for each player will be proportionally increased. As a result, the depreciation of copper already earned will not happen either. The size of copper containers, which can be put up for sale, will also change. Now, copper can be sold in packs of 100 and 1000 units.

We remind you that in this news item we are sharing our plans for the future. In the future, some of the described innovations may be changed or not make it to the final release at all.
