Tales from Survivors. The best armored cars from the Crossout exhibition (Results)

Today in our traditional selection of the best armored vehicles from the Wasteland engineers — machines made specifically for the exhibition. All cars were selected by the editorial board on the basis of user votes at the game exhibition, as well as originality and creative approach to assembly.

Left just for 5 minutes! And here is the result. Some good raider took my old wrecked wheels. I hope he brings me new ‘Shivs’ instead. I believe in Survivors. After all, we are like a family!

A wasp is a very dangerous and unpleasant insect. One survivor told me how a wasp once killed five raiders at once. They rode their crazy armored car through the rocky terrain. The wasp flew into the cabin, since they had no windows. The driver got distracted. Just for one second. And dropped off a cliff into the abyss. The places around here are dangerous...

Even after so many years since the terrible days of the disaster, Harley-Davidson remains a legend in the Wasteland. Many Raiders would like to be back in the saddle and squeeze the accelerator to the limit! It is rumoured that Psycho Pete is ready to pay a tidy sum in full coins for a real Harley.

I have an old friend in the Wastelands. He lives in a remote village at the very edge of the Valley. One of those who before the disaster was called the ‘Survivalist’. Well, you know, one of those who dug a pit under the house and stuffed it with canned food. So he was preparing for the zombie apocalypse. He even prepared a car beforehand. He called it affectionately ‘My frog’. But reality is always worse than fiction...

And then there's another story. Strange nettle was grown in one village in the east of the Valley. It was excellent for ropes and clothes. They made oil from it too. Well, for medical purposes, of course. They had huge fields for this nettle. Like, really huge. And then somebody tried to trample down the crops at night. Right on the eve of harvesting. They tried to ambush the scoundrels, bought complicated and expensive tracking systems from Dawn's Children. All useless. The watchmen fell asleep, the energy dried up. And nobody knew who it was. The village slowly died. The survivors scattered wherever.

Once in a bar ‘Megrat’, where you can meet raiders from all ends of the Valley, someone told a strange story. During a holidays a strange Survivor appeared in the Wasteland. Pretty old. It is evident that his life was rough. The beard was gray, ragged. He had a notable armored car — with ice cream. And people started seeing him in different villages. Here and there. And everywhere he gave children sweets and crackers. And then he just disappeared. Kids miss him very much, they wait for him. If you meet him in the Wasteland — treat him well!

Once a year, Psycho Pete holds a special race in his sands. The most rabid raiders from all over the Valley take part. The rules say you have to drive through the most dangerous places of the Wasteland from one end of the Valley to the other. The way is long and dangerous. But the reward, honour and respect for those who master the road are huge.

Constantly working in dense cities, the townspeople dreamed that one day they would leave all the hustle and bustle, sit in a cabriolet and ride somewhere... Even now, when the absence of a roof means only a breach in the defence of an armored car, the Wasteland engineers continually create such crafts. For example, this one was made personally at the request of Scar AB and is under special protection in one of his many hangars. It is said that he rides it only once a year, accepting a parade of recruits into the faction.

Elders of many communities shared stories, as if in the times before the disaster, city dwellers kept moving from place to place. A constant companion of such changes was this car, which is now transporting goods. But today it carries shells for large-caliber guns instead of furniture.

Scavengers are renowned for their passion for parts of all kinds and sizes. They can get all kinds of junk for you! And so one of them put together an actual house, away from the community and without paying any fees. It's clear that very few people appreciated this. As soon as he was away for an hour, nothing left of the house. But our hero was not born yesterday! He built another one, but he didn't even need to get out of it — it could take him anywhere and also protect him. What a practical guy.
